Project Approach & Workshops
how the project actually works on the ground

Project Indradhanu is implemented through interactive school workshops that combine art, creativity, and social awareness. Each session includes hands-on art and craft activities, storytelling, music, cultural expression, and discussions on real-world issues such as environment, equality and UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Students are encouraged to express themselves freely, discover hidden talents & build confidence. The workshops also include tree plantation and creative exercises using a self-authored art education book & Promoting the NCERT "Kriti" Arts Education textbook in schools where it has not yet reached.

Digital Engagement
Extending Impact Beyond Classrooms

To expand the reach of Project Indradhanu beyond physical workshops, Ayush actively uses digital platforms and community engagement. Each school visit and workshop is documented and shared through short videos and reels on social media to spread awareness and inspire others. Through these efforts, the project has reached over 100,000+ views online. Additionally, Ayush engages students through free online sessions under Indradhanu Classroom, where he share ideas, art & creativity and Discussions on climate, equality, education and society. Personal Motivation

Why he started this project?

During his schooling, Ayush felt the absence of art and creative learning, as education focused mainly on textbooks and exams. While studying in Class 7 (2021), he began teaching and interacting with underprivileged and differently-abled children, where he was deeply inspired by their curiosity, questions, and eagerness to create. Seeing their desire for expression and meaningful learning strengthened his belief that creativity is essential in education. These experiences motivated him to take action, leading to the founding of Ayush Art Foundation and the launch of Project Indradhanu, with the aim of building confidence, creativity, and social awareness through art.

Unstoppable Journey

Behind every workshop of Project Indradhanu lies a journey of dedication and resilience. Ayush Mohapatra, along with his parents, has travelled thousands of kilometres on a scooty, often through extreme weather conditions, to reach schools and communities. What began as a personal effort has grown into a shared mission. Together, they have formed a strong team, committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to express, learn, and grow through creativity.
